Silver Sammelselg loves of outdoor spaces took root while a young boy growing up in Kuusalu, a rural town in the Estonia.
There, he watched his parents transform a 2~acre overgrown backyard into a charming garden.
During college years, Silver spent a year working in Sweden and traveling, as time permitted, throughout Europe.
Eating a raw kohlrabi, a coveted treat, amid art deco architecture on a street corner in Prague and studying art and garden design in UK enriched his appreciation of the interaction between plants, gardens and people.
His more recent travels have included visits to some of the most well respected gardens of England – Sissinghurst, Hidcote, Great Dixter, and Barnsley House.
Prior to establishing Silva Design Group, Silver worked as a consulting interior designer in a number of successful DC area restaurants and nightclubs.
Whether designing visually appealing, sumptuous menus or beautiful gardens, Silver has a keen ability to create results that appeal to the senses.
He guides her clients through the design process, ensuring that her designs meet their needs and incorporate the architectural details and exterior colors of the structures adorned by his projects.
Silver brings together his knowledge of product and industrial design, interior design and construction knowledge to deliver elegantly styled outcomes.
